Robert Newman

Robert Newman is a practicing attorney in Santa Ana, California who handles family law, criminal defense and civil litigation, with an emphasis on cases involving animals. Mr. Newman's work on cases involving animals has earned him international media attention. He has been interviewed on all of the major television networks. He has been interviewed by Dan Rather for "48 Hours" and appeared in the Los Angeles Times, USA TODAY, and Newsweek. Mr. Newman is recognized as a leading authority on animal law, and has been allowed to argue both emotional distress damages and punitive damages before juries in veterinary malpractice cases. Mr. Newman has lectured throughout the country to veterinarians on the topic of veterinary malpractice, and acts as a private consultant to assist veterinarians in avoiding malpractice by assessing their practice policies and procedures.
